My name is Brittney, and I am the Administrative Intern for the Life Purpose Center. I am an undergraduate Honors student at Texas Woman’s University majoring in Business Administration. As an intern, I will practice my fundraising expertise to secure funding through grants, donations, and fundraising events while ensuring financial stewardship to maximize the organization’s impact and long-term sustainability. I create detailed budgets for fundraising events, strategically plan and execute these campaigns, and implement targeted social media fundraising efforts to expand donor engagement.
Additionally, I have developed social media marketing campaigns to increase awareness and drive contributions. I also participate in weekly administrative training meetings with CEO Kim Collins to provide progress updates, refine strategies, and brainstorm innovative ideas to enhance fundraising success.
Being an intern at the Life Purpose Center has given me valuable hands-on experience in fundraising, marketing, event planning, and donor relations, allowing me to apply my business administration studies in a real-world setting. This opportunity has strengthened my leadership, strategic thinking, and marketing skills while deepening my passion for nonprofit work and community impact
